Lectors – proclaim the Word of God during Mass and read the General Intercessions (when a Deacon is not present). Some local training in liturgical ceremonies is necessary. It is to the discretion of the pastor to choose the candidates.

Los Lectores proclaman la Palabra de Dios en las misas y si el Diácono no está presente también leen las peticiones. Se necesita un entrenamiento sobre ceremonias litúrgicas. El párroco tiene la responsabilidad de entrevistar a los candidatos.
